Hi MG Listers,

I have a 1970 MGB GT out here in tropical Singapore. The front left wheel
bearing (steel wheels) was totally shot to the point that the inner race
of the outer bearing hub had to be sawn into two to get it off. According
to my Parts List, the parts are listed as :

GHB 105 Bearing-hub-inner
GHB 102 Bearing-hub-outer
88G 441 Seal-oil

On closer examination, the old bearings do not look like the authentic
parts (One has Japan stamped on it, the other does not have any discernible
part numbers). We only have ONE main supplier for MG parts and they do not
have any wheel bearing kits in stock. However there is a local agent for
Timken bearings which will be able to supply if I can provide him with the
exact Timken part numbers. Also the exact dimensions of the Oil Seal is
required to source an alternative supplier.

Does any body out there have a set of new bearings that they can cross
reference for the appropriate numbers. Any help would be much appreciated.
