I plan on finally installing my new rear springs Saturday morning. From
the Owners Manual, Haynes and A-Antics books it looks quite straight
forward. I've been liberally applying Liquid Wrench for the last few days
and that will hopefully have loosened everything up. If not Mr. Sawzall
will make quick work of the uncooperative pieces. After reinstallation of
the springs I'm going to have to tighten down the U-bracket nuts, the
front anchor nut and the rear shackle nuts. Does anyone have the torque
specs for these items. I realize that I will have to drop the car back on
its rear wheels before I tighten the rear shackle bolts so that may be a
little cozy for the old torque wrench! Any advice would be appreciated.
