A pre-license inspection of my infamous B found a few problems
I hadn't detected.
One of which is a bit of play in the steering rack. All exterior
connections and tie rods are fine, but it appears there is a bit
of slack in the "guts" of the rack.
Are there any adjustments or readily rebuildable jobs to fix
this up? A new steering assembly seems rather steep and includes a
lot of parts I don't really need.
