A really nice used Miata goes for about $6-8K=2E
That's equal to a nicely restored chrome-bumper B=2E
I think that's why you'll see a lot of people on this list
thinking about getting a Miata (or an MR2, and RX7, etc=2E)=2E
I love old sports cars as much as you do, but economically it
doesn't always make sense to have one=2E

'67 B-GT
'67 Triumph GT6 (invested $5K before the
crankshaft thrust washer dropped out, thanks to
Triumph's shitty engineering)
'86 MR2 (bought for $3500; drove it 20K miles last year without problems)
