Back home our local Brit car place has a "wall of shame" where they
hang the most horrible examples of bodging and neglect. There's a
piece there I pulled from my Bugeye shortly after recovering it:
the PO had repaired crash damage to the right sill with bondo, window
screen, wood, and wood screws. The chunk of garbage I got off
that car weighed 8 pounds or so.
I saw a crushed Midget in a junkyard with a bumper sticker that
said "We're from the government: we're here to help".
I once found an E-type coupe in a 'yard.
I don't have any pix, some of the 'yards won't let cameras in. If I
come across anything I'll send it your way.
