Hi Matt,

  Thoes mechanisms have a way of sticking alright.  On my B the driver's
side recliner works fine but the passenger seat is a b****h.  If you
pull the seat back forward whilst pushing the lever backwards it will
usually break free.  Sometimes you have to grab the top of the seatback
and push `n pull while pushing the lever.  Once it breaks free, exercise
it now and again to keep it that way.
