Mine is a length of scaffolding tube, flattend at one end and drilled
with a 1/2" hole, cut to fit over the handbrake lever in the 'on'
position, the other end up against the gearlever in 1st or 4th, with a
big padlock around it through the hole.
The tube need heating to bend it to face the lever, and painting bright
red or yellow.
It is an instant put-off for the theif.
My other, illegal idea, would be to fix a steel spike under the drivers
seat, fired by a cartridge on energising the ignition.....but I forsaw
the odd problem
