One reason the current Moss engine paint is so lousy is that the
environmental regulations in California forbid the sale of high VOC
paints anymore. A friend of mine used to formulate the paint for Moss,
now we can no longer get the ingredients that he used to use. The
current paint is similar to latex, so it is no wonder that it will not
hold up to hot coolant or solvents!
Welcome to the new, environmentally friendly world, where nothing works
like it used to...but we no longer have to worry about poisoning our
children...so the human race will eventually die from overpopulation!
