Jeremy,

I don't know if yours is the same as mine, but I think all later SU fuel
pumps mount the same. Does it mount in a round bracket? with a donut-shaped
rubber sleeve around the pump to isolate the vibration? If so take it to a
hardware store and go to the electrical components area. Look for a
"conduit bracket" (A galvanized steel loop with a mounting point and a nut
that clamps it shut.) There are usually two sizes, the smaller will fit
just right if opened up to it's max adjustment. (if it don't fit get the
big one) Get a little 3/4 inch long 9/16 bolt, washer and nyloc nut to
attach it to the car, and you're in business. Total cost should be around
$1.50

YMMV

Could someone please help me locate(tell me where I can buy) the bracket
for
the fuel pump in my 80 MGB?

I have checked Moss Motors and some other catalogs, and none of them seem
to
list this item. Maybe I can get it used somewhere?

Thanks in advance for any recommendations,

Jeremy
