Yet another ? on MGA tranny swap

Hi,

I've been thinking (usually a bad idea) about this tranny swap I
may want to make.  Is it possible to remove the transmission
from the interior side without removing the engine?  This is a car which
has only recently been put back together so the floors and driveshaft
tunnel should come out easily.
