Forwarding from newsgroups?

As a fairly new subscriber here, I wanted to ask if it is considered bad
form to forward questions and ads from some of the usenet newsgroups to
this forum, provided that they are on-topic?  What is the consensus
fellow subscribers?
Input appreciated, but let's not let this be an eternal thread.........
