Hi MG people, the guy that is rebuilding my tranny called me today to ask a
question. On page 118 of the Haynes Manual, bearing #49, a roller bearing is
to be placed on the shaft. Point is that VB sold me a kit and this bearing
is a ball bearing. The mechanic tells me he has a hard time (if at all
possible) tightning with the roller bearing. I am not sure what he means but
the old bearing was indeed a roller bearing. Any thought input will be
greatly appreciated, Enrique
