| Subject: | Peparation of New wooden bow. |

I just received a new wooden bow for the top of my MGA. Apart from the fact that it seems to need a little 'adjustment' to fit, how should the wood be prepared prior to fitment? Wood preserver? Varnish? Paint? Nothing? Quality of wokmanship is poor: I can see pencil markings for the holes, where, clearly, they have marked the holes, etc, for drilling, but not drilled/cut to the marks.
