| Hello to the list:
I'd like to post the availability of my 1962 MGA Mk II. It's in Signal
Red, really sharp looking with black leather interior, and has about 73k
original miles on it. I haven't run it in a few years, and it needs an
overhaul of the hydraulics. I have the rebuild kit for the master cylinder
but just have not had the time to get it on the road now. In it's prime,
it was a really fast car. Did 118 MPH, (yes, miles) and cornered great.
Also needs new batteries of course.
There are many spare parts, including a whole spare set of SU carbs. Spare
rear axle parts, spare Mk II grill (I have a Mk I grill on it now), etc. I
put a 4.3 rear axle on it so acceleration was improved over the 4.1.
Reasons for selling are as classic as the car: new baby, relocating, etc.
No more time to work on it, and likely won't for a few more years. I'd
let it go for $5,500.00 Cdn (hear that all you US enthusiasts?). Drop me
email if you're genuinely interested. I'm in Woodbridge, just on the
outskirts of Toronto.
Tom
