Shock fluid?

I'm about ready to finish reassembly on the front and, and looking
through the Haynes manual I can't seem to find a reference to what
type/weight fluid to put in the shock absorbers/dampers.

Is it something esoteric, or something I can run down to the hardware
and buy?
