I'm in the process of rebuilding or at least making roadworthy a '67 BGT for
my 17 year old son, in hopes he'll get hooked on MGs, and I'm in search of
some used parts. I need a decent right front fender, steering wheel with
horn push, windshield chrome trim and chrome trim for the rear hatch. I
also either need to rebuild my master cylinder or need a used one. As you
can see my needs are many. Also need windshield wiper arms and the little
clip holder that the rod support for the hood fits in.
I've completely rebuilt the front end, king pins and suspension and gone
through the wiring. The DPO had put an extra 30 or 40 feet of wire in it in
various and sundry places. The transmission is going to need some
attention since the second gear synchronizer is shot and their is a bit of a
rumble in 1st. Does anyone have a reasonable 3 syncro tranny or maybe one
that has a shot 4th gear?
I'm located in Miami and any assistance is appreciated.
