<> You are correct, except that you can't machine stock pushrods. You can and should adjust length on tubular racing pushrods by carefully using a parting tool in a lathe, then heating and re-seating the ends. Basically, if you are rebuilding an engine anyway, adjust the compression with pistons, not head shaving. Around 9.5 is a nice compromise for street use. Bill |
