Hi Neil,

Don't forget the grounding connections at your lights and on the car which
maybe corroded or not conductive anymore.
The "return" current travels funny ways like water - it goes down to earth
which ever way comes first, even when it has to go via other (not directed
though) light bulbs.

Check also the connectors of the indicator switch. Some cleaning can't harm
the lot.
BTW what is Whet & Dry? I hope not the spray where may ones believe to be
the magic stuff. My wifes Galant ignition wiring was covered with it when we
bought it.
Ran sometimes intermittently. I removed the stuff with alcohol (blue spirit)
and repeat cleaning it every winter and it still runs perfectly!
A car feels itself best when it's clean - like yourself!

Good luck in fighting the Prince of Darkness!

Cheers,

Hans
