Alan,
Having owned bunches of British cars, I just have to ask, how many times do
you want to "rebuild" your master cylinder?  Do it right, do it once.  Order a
rebuilt one and be done with it.  Putting a kit in it will eliminate your
problem for a while, but the leaks will come back to plague you again and
again and again.....
