I was really amazed to see people bidding several thousand dollars for MGAs
on eBay -- how on earth do you know the condition of the car? Does it run,
even?
A couple had photos, but when were they taken? One appeared to be of the
car being used in a parade in (I think) 1981. Why would anyone use a photo
of the car in a parade unless a new photo would show the car to be in much
worse condition?
But I do have some doubts about some of the bidders on internet auctions:
when I looked at an auction site before, I saw people bidding computer bits
up to prices higher than they could have bought then from shops locally.
