Whew...and that from a Jew..

Actually I have 2 comments from someone on the list for about 1/2 a year and
with an LBC for not much longer.

One of the ways inbreeding occurs is through the development of a private
language.
Things like DPO, etc. It took me months to figure out LBC might mean Little
British Car, but I am not sure. PO obviously means previous owner, but I have
not deciphered DPO except that maybe it should not be explicitly stated..

I was thinking about the wonderful Old Fart reports and realized that if
acronyms are continuously used, our list is always in danger of becoming
somewhat
smelly, inbred and provincial. Maybe someone could write a treatise on the
acronyms
and post it on a WEB site to take the mystery out of some messages.

And then what is the Crack of Doom referred to in a spate of recent messages?

No offense meant so don't take any. I'm only trying to learn about an
incredibly obscure hobby and pleasure.

Bill
