Hi all, the top on my '70 B is almost dead. It leaks like a sieve. I
want to replace it, but since I'm at school, I don't have the tools or
the time to do it (unlike the typical college student, cases of beer and
midnight pizza runs are absent from my schedule :( ). Anyway, I called
some local upholstery shops here in Atlanta. I spoke to a nice fellow
(knowledgeable of the MGB) and he quoted me a price of $425 installed
for a Robbins or Amco top. If it is a Robbins top, I will probably jump
on this. Does this sound like a decent deal?

My brother's '78 B is getting prepped for the V8 install. We are short
on dough, so the install is being delayed temporarily. Anyway, It is
pageant blue (the BEST color on earth) and has minilite 15" wheels. I
would love you guys to see our work at our web page and please tell me
what you think. We did everything in-house, including the paint,
interior, and new top. http://members.tripod.com/mhartwig/badB

If you're interested in seeing my Porsche just before I bought it, or if
you have interest in a '65 B (ready for restore) for sale, then goto

I recently repainted the Porsche to original color and am in the process
of getting the motor sorted.

Thanks and take care
Jay
