Just a short note--
My problem of fuel in the oil sump and #2 sparking plug fouled was
carburettor related. The PO had broken a flange on the rear carburettor
and welded it back together -only at the ends of the crack! The centre
section (about 1 inch long) was open enough to squirt carb cleaner
through! Once that was repaired and the carbs rebuilt (thnx Lawrie!) I
reassembled and mounted everything. The mixture screw actually does
control the mixture! Amazing!
Now, the front suspension . ....
