Tim,
What you might have there is a zinc cromate plated Gr.8 bolt, it will
handle the weather for a fair amount of time, salt will have an effect over
time on the plating, but thats what plating is supposed to do. The
"Tri-Metal" might likely be another name for "alloy", most bolts are. Good
name for a golf club, eh? 8^)
