Hi David,

Just have had this story almost finished.
I'll check whether I stil have the mails about this subject with all
advices.
By my local supplier I had got the advise, that I should use a 3M spray
adhesive 080808 or something like that.

1 It's very expensive about $ 17.50 per can
2 I assume you should use at least three to four cans in your car.
3 It comes loose too easily on spots where the carpet is under stress.
4 The advantage of this adhesive is, that you can adjust for perfect
fit.
(This counts for the first few minutes when you can take the carpet
loose and refit it into a better shape)

Instead I used a general purpose glue ready for fixing normal carpet. The
glue should be applied to both surfaces. (Surfaces MUST be clean!)
After ten minutes you can put the carpet into the right position. This
position should be good @ the first time - no refitting is possible with
this glue.
As I'm Dutch I used a local product called Bison Tix.

I'll forward all mails I've had about this subject.

Good luck!

Cheers,

Hans
