Hi Allen,
I had a cloisonne club grille badge. One day I was surprised to find all of
the colored enamelled sections were missing. They must have popped out or had
vibrated loose and fallen out.
It was time consuming, but with a small brush, I painted the appropriate
colors where they belonged and let it dry for a few days.
After it had dried thoroughly I mixed up some 2 part epoxy and poured it over
the badge. I let it set for 4 days.
That was a year and a half ago......the colors are still bright and the
surface is protected.
