Skye, sounds like you're doing everything right, I assume the attachment you
bought is a pointed tip that is designed to push in the check ball on the
grease fitting, and then allow the grease to enter the fitting? If this is
the case I can only suggest you might want to push harder when using the
attachment.
Another option is a longer grease fitting. It will allow you to use your
regular grease gun fitting.
