I have to agree that this is subjective discussion. Years ago when I
worked for my living as a mechanic I bought Snap-On screwdrivers and Mac
wrenches. My preference for the Mac Tools was I felt that the edge of the
Snap-On wrenches were too narrow. As you pulled on a bolt they cut into
the hand. The Mac wrenches had a wider edge and were not as hard on the
hands. I knew many people that felt the same way. I kew lots of toolboxes
filled with Mac wrenches and Snap-On screwdrivers etc. Unfortunately
somebody swiped my toolbox of Mac wrenches a number of years ago, when I
was in school and not working as a mechanic and I replaced them with
Craftsman. They are adequate for my current needs and it was easier to go
to Sears. I still miss the Snap-On screwdrivers though.
