71 BGT, installing the new master cylinder, I really have to shove on the
pushrod to get everything lined up so I can get the nut and washer on the
bottom bolt which goes through both the clutch and brake in the pedal box
area. Is this normal? It didn't seem this hard last time I did it. Also,
(newbie mechanic question) is the long or short clevis pin for the brake?
Got two new ones to be on the safe side, and I don't know which is which.

Also, with this engine rebuild, my friend who is coming down this weekend
to help me, or me to help him, take your pick, thinks I should try to pick
up a set of timing gears from one of my local Moss people. I see those
fancy vernier timing gears for $$$$$, but is there a regular option for say
$80, which he thinks I should be able to get? Thanks in advance, the list
is great!!!! Nina
