I cant get a decent spark and I've lost all hope of starting my car again. And
she's so pretty.
Now I can buy a new Crane XR700 at the local parts sjhop to replace the Allison
XR700 that is in my 77 MGB. The Crane XR700 is optical, the connections appear
identical.
The question is can I replace the allison directly? Kinda like plug-n-play? I
would like to directly replace it so I can go play this weekend. :-)
Thanks for the combined genius of the list! in trying to diagnois the problem.
I
had gas, the battery is charged. the dizzy looks good and the wires are new.
The
coil is good and the ballast was recently replaced. So by process of
elimination
im thinking that leaves the amplifier.
