Help, please,

Reinstalling the original braking system in the '77B has been quite an
experience and 'it ain't over yet". I've learned that MGB hydraulics use a
bubble flare. Bubble flare tools are expensive, but available. However, the
only ones I've been able to find are for metric lines! The only bubble flare,
pre-flared tubing sold by NAPA has metric fittings.
What gives? This morning I purchased a SnapOn TFM-428 Bubble Flaring Tool in
hopes that the B's lines are close enough to their metric equivalents to allow
me use the tool.

Can anyone enlighten me about this topic? BTW, the Tool is made for SnapOn
by Blue-Point and goes for $95.80. Ouch.
