I've hesitated over the years to buy from Victoria British. The only times
I've used them has been when they've had a sale on an item I want and NO ONE
else does; or they happen to have the item in stock when others don't.

I'm expecting a shipment of minilites for the early '74B. I tried to order
through The Proper MG, for they had a sale price, but found they had no
stock at the time. I received the VB catalog the next day in the mail and
saw they had the minilites on sale. So, I took the plunge. Thinking about
it, I can only remember 1 time I ordered from them in the past. For some
hardware items they had lots of stock on. It seems that most times I've
called and talked with a phone salesperson, they didn't have the knowledge I
was seeking in preparing my order, so I decided not to order. As an aside,
speaking on the phone with Moss Motors has also, more than 90% of the time,
been kind of a pain. I've hesitated to order from them also most times
(plus, living in Ca. I have to pay state taxes on the orders from Moss).

I've been VERY happy with a few smaller dealers. Namely, Brit-Tek, The
Proper MG, Faspec, Northwest Imports, Special Interest Car Parts, The Auto
Forum to name a few.
