I also have a relatively new Crane/Allison unit replacing a Pirhana unit at
least 10 years old. Works great, but an old Allison unit on my other B
failed after about 9 years. A friend avoided the non-original look of the
external box by mounting it high up on the bulkhead inside the passenger
footwell.
