I bought a new steering wheel for my 1980 MGB. It's an RV8-style wheel, and
it's supposed to have the right hub for the later B's, but it's got a horn
switch (mine doesn't) and the hub seems different, with a raised ridge
where my current wheel is flat. Does this sound like a wheel for an earlier
car, or should I just ignore the horn switch and mount the steering wheel?
I'm still trying to remove the old wheel following the directions from
others on the list, but so far all my hammering has done is wake my wife and
daughter from their naps.
