Depressing the clutch will reduce the engine speed.
There is no "feature" to reduce the idle while depressing
the clutch, not for emissions, not for any other reason.
The reduced engine speed is due to physics.
If anyone out there knows of something I am missing please
let me know.
This is a new thread about roller throw out bearings. Any
more comments on the pros and cons of roller throw out
bearings?
