        The replacement boosters specced for the MGC are the same as the
replacement one used on the Austin Healey 3000.  It is also suitable for use
on other LARGE single line cars, such as the Jaguar Mk II.
        The MGC application is an early dual system design and requires two
servos.  This is a chunk of change and requires a lot of space to install.
The 68-74 MGB brake system is sized to allow good braking with reasonable
pedal effort in sotck form.  Installing a booster would IMHO make the brakes
overly sensitive.  A more realistic conversion, if servo assisted brakes
were needed would be to convert to the later 75-80 pedal box assembly.  This
would give a modern single servo brake system at reasonable cost.  There are
clearance problems with the earlier air filters, but there are a number of
ways around this.

        Again, a note to MGC owners.  The recomended replacement servo from
AP/Girling is the same one specified for the Austin Healey 3000.
