Thanks to all who responded - particularly those who gave me what I was
really after, a way to communicate my dissatisfaction via the 'Net to those
in power. Thanks also to those who voiced support. It's nice to know I'm not
alone in my opinion.

If I knew how to use my computer as well as I know how to work on my 1934 MG
PA (obligatory reference to historic autos, to keep Jim Runciman happy),  I
would not have had to bother the list with this off-topic subject!
