White wall tyres?
Does anyone have them on their MGB? I've seen a press photo of the GT at
launch with some great white walls on and am tempted to fit mine with some
one day. For the purist is this adulteration on a UK car? Was it ever an
option? Does anyone know what width the white wall should be if I were to
fit them?

For your interest details I've acquired about them are below...
According to our fitment charts the original tyres on your car in crossply
are 560-14 (5X14 wheel). We can supply you with the following in this size;
560-14 BF Goodrich White wall tyres (2" wide ww) @ £105.00 each
560-14 Premium White wall tyres (0.5/8" wide ww) @ £57.50 each
There was also an option in radial tyres; 165-14 (4.5X14 wheel) or 185/70-14
4.5-6X14 wheel). If it is radial tyres you want let me know andI'll see
what I can find with a white wall.
All prices exclude delivery and UK VAT at 17.5%.
