Actually, what I was worried about is that the bumper material on a 74-80 
MGB would not be the same as that used today on the many vehicles with 
body-colored, flexible bumpers/wings/skirts/spoilers. Plastics is a 
fast-moving industry. But it looks like others have done this 
successfully -- probably the best bet is to consult a commercial paint 
supplier, as you say.
