Greetings...The MGB/GT V8 which won Concours at NAMGBR's MG '98 in
Hagerstown, MD is indeed a bonafide factory V8 and is owned by Don Peery of
Oklahoma. While it is NOT one of the original 7 V8's which were exported to
the States, Don imported this excellent example of the marque in the late
80's, under the scrutiny of the US government. He said is was quite a pain.
Additionally, I believe that Lyle York of Anderson, Indiana also owns an
original factory V8. Richard Miller of New Jersey also owns a factory V8.
