Frank:

        The bonnet pressing does not change from 1963-80.  The MGC bonnet is
also interchangable.  There is no difference between the roadster and GT
bonnet.

        The early bonnets were alloy, the later steel.  The prop rod tab and
rod retainer mounting point are also minor differences.

        The only problem I have encountered when swapping bonnets is trying
to install a bonnet from a 70-72 recessed grille car onto a 63-69, 73-74
flush mounted grille car.

        The recessed grille does not require a curved front lip, so this
curvature can be lost by body work, or......... causing poor fit over the
flush mount grille.
