Well, I said I "think" since I thought I had seen it discussed on the
list. But perhaps that was rod bearings that were being discussed. But
now that I think about it, I seem to recall someone telling me about
rotating the bearing shells into position around the crank journals,
although this was in respect to a Detroit V8. I'm sure you would know
more about it than I do. As I said, my motor was on a stand at the
wrecking yard at the time my mains were replaced. Sorry if I mislead
anyone.
