Boy, that's weird. Seemingly, the provincial government has put itself
into the position of concours judge or vintage race tech steward -- one
wonders how much expertise they really possess on this subject. I can't
imagine the California DMV being in this position -- they couldn't even
comprehend that 600cc displacement fell into the "50 cubic inches or
less" category -- even when looking at the VIN plate which clearly read
"36.6 cid".
