I agree. I have the Chilton's manual and it appears to be a modified Buick 
manual, fairly generic with lots of GM diagrams with some MG specific 
material. It does have a good trouble shooting chapter but other than that, 
it has minimal value.

I have found the Haynes manual to be the way to go.
