Well, yes, I imagine they were thinking of painted or varnished metal 
coat hangers, not plastic or plastic-coated hangers, when they made that 
recommendation...<g>

The kind you want frequently has a paper wrapper with an advertising 
message, something like this: "Friendly Cleaners -- Same Day Delivery -- 
Shirts 5¢ -- Taylor 5-9090"... or in other words, are about forty years 
old...
