Mike, I agree with your point of view and feel that maybe the MG list (and 
most lists for that matter) are sort of an excuse to relate to other humans 
and share social interaction.

There are many nice people on the list as well as all out asses but then 
thats how all the planet is.
I'm on four other lists and the MG list is the most civilized of them all.

Another interesting thing I have noticed is that the make up of most lists 
is 90% US members 2%European, 8% Africa, South America Asia. Enrique
