Take the approach that you want it for a parts car...offer them $100 and
have the cash in $100 or 2 $50s. It has so much wrong with it, this will be
your "money pit" for the next few years. Do you have one of the British
parts catalogs?? Moss, Roadster factory, Victoria British, etc?? You can
easily get an idea of what you are taking on by pricing out just the stuff
you KNOW is bad.
I'm not saying don't do it or don't buy it, but you should have a realistic
idea of what you are getting into, and the offer you make should reflect
that.
