What's most interesting to me about the '62 figures is the fuel consumption part. Consumption is lowest between 3500 and 4000 RPM. Presuming the numbers follow the same pattern for the later models, it explains why an OD B gets better mileage cruising at 70 MPH in OD than in direct drive. Cheers, CR |
