I just pointed out to another lister (Rick Lindsay) that fuel pumps
(contacts) tend to burn in and start to malfunction. Mine were heavily burnt
as well.
I did not replace the contacts, but made them flat again by rubbing these to
a whetstone. I checked the adjustment - no sweat. 
It works great - did not cost a cent! What is cheeper and will keep your B
original?

THanks Hans.

I think the regulator was a good idea. Why spend the extra money on another
fuel pump when the one you have is working and for a couple of dollars, a
regulator can be added. :o))
