A respected research organization in the UK tested a number of brands of
lead substitute available in the UK. They were testing to see if the
products reduced valve seat recession. Most did nothing! However, 4 brands
appeared to work. Of those 4, the only one that I am aware of that is
available in the USA is RedLine.
This is not to say that other brands available in the USA do not work,
merely that there is only one available brand that has been independently
tested.
